Breaking: Manchester United Class of 92 Appoints Scholes As Coach

The Manchester United Class of 92 have sacked Graham Alexander as Manager of Salford City, a club they jointly own.

Former England and Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes, a co-owner of the club with Gary and Phil Neville, Ryan Giggs and Nicky Butt has been appointed as temporary manager.

Scholes has been appointed by his former teammates.

However, he will not be a long-term appointment, with a new coach expected to be appointed later this month.

Scholes will be in charge of training at the League Two club, who drew 2-2 with Tranmere on Saturday and are unbeaten in the division this season, and will be on the bench at Port Vale on Saturday.

The midfielder other coaching experience was a disastrous 31-day spell as manager of Oldham.
